As well as this, some animals benefit from a decrease in competition from other species, allowing them to reproduce and expand their population. Overall, global warming poses both risks and benefits for animal species, with the most prominent issues being extreme weather and migration patterns. As temperatures continue to rise, we must take steps to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and other polluting activities in order to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Only by doing this can we ensure that animal species are able to survive in a warming world.
