Similarly, agricultural production is responsible for up to 10% of global emissions, due to various processes such as land clearing, burning of crop residues, and the use of fertilizer, resulting in an increase in nitrous oxide and methane levels in the atmosphere.
Global warming can have serious repercussions for humanity, including devastating weather events and the extinction of species.
